Our return to Ireland in June, 2000. The purpose of the trip was to obtain the residency necessary to marry in the country. It was a fine trip, even though the wedding was ultimately in Pennsylvania. For more information on arcane Irish marriage laws, visit here.

Wicklow - the garden of Ireland. It is a mystical place where you can almost hear the celtic music. Wicklow, surrounded by mist, ruined religious monuments, and an loud silence. There's a pub up there somewhere too.
Wicklow redux. The place makes you feel like you're living in a fairy tale. A comfortably erie one. The streets of Waterford, a former Viking settlement located in southeast Ireland. A quiet Sunday stroll with few people about.
The monument to the Wexford Pikemen, in Wexford. They valiantly lost to British oppression armed only with pikes, cunningly hidden in thatched roofs. A town-center area in Waterford, surrounded with pubs, craft shops and a statue of Commodore John Barry, a founder of the U.S. Navy.
The Rock of Cashel, the might-have-been wedding location. We still could have, if we wanted to pay the two Punts admission with everyone else. The Rock at night.
The view from the Rock is very pleasant, and it's the only hill for miles. While lost due to inneficient map-reading by myself, we stumbled across some lovely landscape.
